Year 2023 - Objectives 2022 Balance Time

 

Hi all

First day 2023 = Time of balance. 

Below my 2022 objectives.

1. Improve My English Level

• Improve listening comprehension (Little improvements)
• See at least a film in English (Start to see Del Toro's Pinocchio never ended)
• Read at least a book in English (No at all)
• Duolingo every day, return and remain in diamond league (So and So, my strike in Duolingo is about 1980 days, but i am in Ossiadiana League)

2. Improve my Chess Level

• More Matches than 2022 (Yes)
• Improve my level  Actually is : (Yes)

Problems : 1630

V/N/S : 227/7/219 (Giornalieri)

• Win one or more tournament (Yes I win one Tournament)

3. Improve my incomes

• Investments (No)
• Saving (No)
• Less expenses than 2021 (No)
• Another work (No)

4. Be a better Christian

• Same church activities (Timoteo, Banco Alimentare, Uscieri, Timoniere) (Change of Church)
• Read the bible daily, at least 12 plans on MyVersion (So and So no daily but many plans done)
• Speaks more about Christ to another people (No)

5. Development

• Deploy one or more application on Google Play (Lineadd and/or CrashP) (No)
• Release at least 5 new repositories on github (actually 1st January 2o22 are 27 repositories) (Yes actually there are 53 repositories)

6. Blog

• Write more posts on this blog (12 or more) (No this year I wrote 4 post vs 8 in 2021)

7. Fitness

• Under or equal to 77 kilograms (Actually 1st January 2o21 my weight is 77,1 Kg) (No actually my weight is 81,3 Kg)
• Home fit (abdominal, ...) (So and So)
• Jogging activities (No)
• More than 3 Trekking activities (No only 2 in this year)

8. Courses

• At least 3 courses (Coursera, EDX, SoloLearn, HacherRank....) (Yes just 3 courses)
• Improve my Frontend Knowledge (Express or Angular) (Yes done)
• Course Flatter / Dart (No only started)

Really a very bad year, best area is chess and worst areas are Fitness and Improve my incomes. :-(

Generate Random Data for Testing

Hi all

During my last work project, I need to create a large amount of data for test.

Searching on internet a tool to create random testing data I found some tools, in particular one over all catch my attention.

It's name is Mockaroo, an online tools permits to create a large number of output format (JSON, SQL, CSV, ...).

Interface is very intuitive and using formulas and predefined datas it's possible create a very large set of random data.

Unfortunately in free version is possible only create a maximum of  1000 records for output, anyway more than enough for my test.

I recommend to try this tool.

• UTL_CALL_STACK API (From Oracle 12c version)

Year 2022 - Objectives 2021 Balance Time

 

Hi All

Before all, 2021 was another year with pandemy COVID virus.

Today first day of 2022 it's balance time, below my 2021 objectives.

1. Improve My English Level

• Improve listening comprehension (Little improvements)
• See at least a film in English (No)
• Read at least a book in English (No)
• Duolingo every day, reaching 1500 days and remain in diamond league (Yes) I finish 2021 with 1623 (Yes)

2. Improve my Chess Level

• More Matches than 2020 (So and So, more matches but also more defeats)
• Win one or more tournament (No)

3. Improve my incomes

• Investments (No)
• Saving (No)
• Less expenses than 2020 (Yes)
• Another work (No)

4. Be a better Christian

• More church activities (Yes - Timoteo School)
• Read the bible daily, at least 12 plans on MyVersion (Yes - I read all Bible and 20 plans completled)
• Speaks more about Christ to another people (So and So)

5. Development

• Deploy one or more application in Google Play (Lineadd and/or CrashP) (No)
• Release at least 5 new repositories on github (actually 1st January 2o21 are 24 repositories) (So and So released only 3 repositories more)

6. Blog

• Write more posts on this blog (12 or more) (No only 8 posts)

7. Fitness

• Under or equal to 80 kilograms (Actually 1st January 2o22 my weight is 77,1 Kg)
• Home fit (abdominal, ...) (Yes)
• Jogging activities (No)
• More than 3 Trekking activities (Only 1)

8. Courses

• At least 3 courses (Coursera, EDX, SoloLearn, HacherRank....) (Yes)
• Improve my Frontend Knowledge (Node.js or Angular) (Yes Node)

9. Book

• Release at least one book in wattpad (No)

The 2021 balance was :

OK 8 over 23 : 34,8%

KO 11 over 23 :  47,8%

SO AND SO 4 over 23 : 17,4%

It's not a very good result but better than 2021.

My best 2021 areas were : "Be a better Christian" 2 over 3, "Courses" 2 over 2 reached and Fitness Area 2 over 4 (most important my weight)

Another beautiful Visualcode extension

Hi all

I found another interesting extension for my favorite editor.

In my last post My extensions for Visual Studio Code, I spoke about the best extensions I use actually in Visual Code Editor.

Today i want speak about another interesting extension, a csv editor.

Who like me needs to work on csv files and needs to modify them, can use this fantastic extension.

Exist a online version too on https://edit-csv.net/.

The repository in on github and you can install it on Visual Studio Code.

My extensions for Visual Studio Code

 Hi all

In my opinion Visual Studio Code is actually one of the best free editor.  

This editor developed by Microsoft have many extensions and it is light and fast, I am using it daily for work and personal development.

Actually I am coding in Java, Javascript, CSS, HTML, awk, C, C++, PLSQL, SQL, and Python.

While I write this post my current Visual Studio Code version is 1.58.0 and my favorite extensions are :

• VIM : Vim emulation for Visual Studio Code

        I am a Vi lover so I need this extension to improve the editor with vi                      powerful commands.

• SFTP by LIXOMO 

    

        This is one of the best sftp extensions presents in Marketplace, very useful,             permits to configure more remote connection by JSON file.

• BEAUTY by yhpnora

        This extension permits to beautify code and actually supports javascript, 

        css, python, html, ...    

  

• DIFF TOOL by Jinsihou

        This useful extension permits to compare two files, is one of the best                       extension of this type on marketplace.

 These four extensions are for me very necessary to develop my work and              recommend use them to everyone.
