A good mobile app to learn english

Hi All

After my last post I rediscovered an app named Memrise .
It's very good app. In 2017,2016 and 2015 It won the Google Play Award.

Really I like it too much. The application presents many learning levels and it permits to learn English in various modality : reading, listening and writing, words or phrases.
You can remember all words learned and confirm them in every lesson.
I like the app idea what words are like plants to watering.

Actually I am using this app with duolingo and Knudge.me (see my post) but I'm preferring Memrise because it's more fresh app and I think it can help me to improve my English level quickly.

What is the best mobile free app to learn english ?

Hi All

I'm not an English mother tongue so I have to learn the most used worldwide language.
My level is medium and I am searching continuously a good free mobile app to learn it.

Actually I am using Duolingo  a good application but very basic.

Recently I discover a new Application named Knudge.me. It is not totally free but in free version permits a good learning level.
Application presents some games to learn new words, it permits read a little text and answer a some related questions.
I like it. I am using it for 3 days but I think it's a good app.

In the next day I will have an idea more specify while the question remain "What is the best mobile free app to learn english ?", do you know the answer ?

How will be this year ?

Hi all

Every year in January this is the most common question "How will be this year ?".
Another common question is "It will be a good year or a bad year?".

Really nobody knows the answers.

There are many events in progress in 2018 in the World and in Italy, for me most important are :

• North Korea crisis 
• March Italian Elections 
• Crypto currencies
• Brexit

North Korea crisis is a matter between two big child named Kim and Donald that are playing with the world destiny. We hope it's just  a game but sadly It'is not.

About Elections in Italy, really I haven't too much hopes. Italy is a decadent country tired about false political promises, probably the winner'll be M5S, the new party leaded by a comedian with good intentions but little political experience. 

About Crypto Currencies I think that this year will be the year of its definitely affirmation or most probably the end of the speculation. In any case something will happen about.

Last but not last, Brexit will continue in the 2018 with strong impacts in the European Community at any level, economic and politic.

So the only thing that remains is see events and hope.

• Saving (Bar) 

4. Be a better Christian

• More church activities 

5. Deploy one or more application in Google Play

6. Write more posts on this blog (12 or more)

7. Stay Fit

• Under or equal to 78 kilograms (Actually my weight is 78,6 Kg)
• Home fit (abdominals, ...) 
• Jogging activities

8. Almost 4 courses (Coursera, EDX, ....)

Year 2018 - Objectives 2017

Hi all

A new year is here. As every year, in this post I show my year objective for 2017 had his results :

1. Improve My English Level

    Improve listening comprehension   So and So (In 2017  I have done every day duolingo)

2. Improve my Chess Level Bad (No tournaments and few matches) 

          One or more tournaments Failed

3. Improve my incomes Failed
4. Be a better Christian So and So
5. Study and deploy a mobile application Reached (Developed a mobile game with libgdx framework)
6. Write more posts on this blog So and So (I write 3 posts vs 2 posts in 2016, but too few)
7. Stay Fit

• Under 80 kilograms Reached (Actually I weigh 78,6 Kg)
• Home fit (abdominals, ...)  So and So (Only in the first part of the year) 

8. Run more than 2015 Failed (No runned)
9. Almost 4 courses (Coursera, EDX, ....) Failed (Only 2 libgdx courses )

Results so and so, better than previous year but no good at all.

A failure announced

Hi all

Today I want speak about new Nintendo Console. After the failure of the sale of the Wii U, Nintendo try again with another one.
Like Wii U, this console permits two use, home and portable.

Nintendo Switch is the name of this console, I think that this name is due to this double use. In portable use, it is like a tablet with a screen of 6.2 inches and a resolution of 720p. At the screen tablet you can add the two controls used in home use.

In my opinion this new console will be a sure failure for these six reasons :

1) This console isn't backward compatible with Wii U and Nintendo DS.
2) This double nature (portable and home) was a failure in Wii U.
3) The design is retro and the colors aren't attractive (but this is my personal opinion) grey is horrible color.
4) The price of 329 Euro it's too expensive in comparison with PS4 and XBOX.
5) Nothing innovative.
6) 3 March is a wrong date of announcement and sale, just after Christmas time.

The 2017's second post

Hi All

The second post of this 2017. Many changes will came : a new USA president, many changes in my work and a little hope to change mine.

But first all, this new USA President, TRUMP, what about him? The world is really worried. Many people think that he is like a new Berlusconi but with a large audience and power. Really I haven't an opinion about him, Obama was one of the biggest disappointments in the history. Really I think that Trump will be another anonymous president a little bit more folkloric nothing more. Probably he will not end its mandate if he does something against the interests of lobbies or somethings strange, someone speaks about not much more two years of presidency, we will see.

Another item of this new year, is my actually work, many changes will come and not all goods. Actually Vivendi controls TIM but some rumors speak about a possible sale to ORANGE (ex Telecom France). If it's true another big changes will come. We will wait for it.

My new job, I hope and pray about this. Finally I hope that 2017 will be the year of my personal change to improve my work life and my life in general.

So we go into this new year.
